MeierK9 is a dog training business owned by Nick Meier, who began his professional training career in 2016, with skills dating back to age 14. He started in a vet office learning basic obedience, then trained dogs for adoption at a pit bull rescue. Nick later attended and graduated from Tarheel, a premier K9 training school.

MeierK9’s goal is to create positive impacts between handlers and dogs. They offer a wide variety of services including obedience and e-collar training, trial preparation, group training, handler/dog relationship building, environmental work, and grip building. Nick Meier is also a competitor, pursuing championships with his English Springer Spaniel in ESSFT, and training British Labs for pheasant and geese hunting. He has extensive experience as a decoy, working with K9s for Law Enforcement, Special Forces, U.S. military, and Private Security Companies across the United States, Africa, and China. MeierK9 also engages in conservation efforts, specifically anti-poaching work in Africa, and operates a facility that is negative on the grid due to a complete solar panel system.

Their services include private lessons, consulting services, K9 selection, decoy workshops, and K9 scenario training. Nick offers his services globally, including the USA, Canada, Africa, and previously China.

Accomplishments

Nick Meier, owner of MeierK9, started his professional training career in 2016, building on skills acquired since age 14. He gained experience as kennel staff in a vet office and by training dogs for adoption at a pit bull rescue. He is a graduate of Tarheel, a premier K9 training school.
