MidMo Dog Training offers a variety of programs, including multi-level obedience classes, agility training, private lessons, and specialized youth and performance classes. Obedience classes are structured in three levels: Level One covers basic obedience (sit, down, stay, come when called, walking nicely on a leash), addresses problem behaviors like barking and jumping, and introduces rally and agility sports, with opportunities for S.T.A.R. Puppy and Canine Good Citizen awards. Level Two builds on Level One skills, focusing on distance commands, off-leash work, and advanced socialization, incorporating Rally, Confirmation Skills, Tricks, Freestyle Dance, and Drill Skills. Level Three is a catered class for advanced work, held at different locations.

Agility classes involve working with dogs through tunnels, weaves, jumps, and A-frames, also including Rally instruction. A specialized “Sassy Dog Agility” class is available for dogs with off-leash attitude or dog-to-dog aggression. MidMo Waggers is an energy-burning and social class requiring Level One obedience as a prerequisite. The 4-H SPIN Club is for youth handlers (ages 5-18 with an adult helper) focusing on tricks, obedience, and fun activities. The Show Dog/Tricks Class challenges dogs mentally with various tricks and performance opportunities, requiring Level One and Two obedience.

For those seeking intensive training, a Board and Train option is available, allowing dogs to improve skills during their stay, with a suggested four-week duration for maximum improvement, though shorter stays are offered.

Testimonials

“I just wanted to say THANK YOU for helping us with our Koda Bear. I am blown away by the progress he has made in such a short time with you. We’ve gone on at least two walks a day and each time he has stayed by me and has been energetic to show off his tricks. The barking and excitement has gone down immensely. It has made spending time outside with him 1,000 times more enjoyable. Thank you, Jennifer!”
– Ashley and Ryan Ladd

“Jennifer and her team did a great job training my year old aussiedoodle. I went with the 28 day board and train and the results were better than I had hoped for. I would recommend MidMo Dogs for anyone looking for a qualified trainer for their canine companion.”
