The Puppy Class is a 7-week session designed for puppies 8-16 weeks old at the start of the session, focusing on positive techniques. The first week is a mandatory orientation for handlers only, with puppies staying at home. Puppies join from week 2.
Subsequent classes (Weeks 2-7) involve skill learning and practice, supervised puppy play, problem-solving discussions, take-home exercises, and progress evaluation. Classes build progressively, adding new skills while reinforcing previous learning. Topics covered include potty and crate training, nutrition guidance, socialization, loose leash walking, focus, recall, meeting and greeting, “leave it”, touch targeting, place training, introduction to agility and medical equipment, grooming basics, and pet regulations.

Pricing Summary
The Puppy Class costs $200 for a 7-week session. Payment in full is required at orientation and payments are non-refundable. Classes fill quickly and are first-come, first-served.
Policies
For attendance, two handlers per puppy are allowed, but no switching of handlers or additional observers are permitted. There are no make-up classes.
Regarding illness, handlers and instructors should not attend if they are feeling ill or fear contact with someone ill. Class cancellations are rare, but if they occur (e.g., due to cold weather), notification will be made, and the material will be worked into remaining classes. Payments for classes are non-refundable.
