Dog Training Methodology

Methods:

  • Positive Reinforcement Only

Molasses Creek Dog Training offers various programs including group classes, private coaching, and day training. Group classes cover Puppy Classes, Adolescent/Adult Dog Classes, Tricks Classes, and AKC Canine Good Citizen.

Private Coaching involves one-on-one sessions at their facility or in the client’s home, teaching owners how to train their dogs. Day Training is offered in the client’s home, where trainers work with the dog directly, followed by weekly sessions to transfer skills to the owner.

For puppies, they offer a “Puppy Start Right Program” where the puppy is trained by Molasses Creek staff. Additionally, they host “Free Yappy Hour” sessions on Saturdays at 12pm and Thursdays at 7pm for supervised puppy socialization.

Testimonials

“Molasses Creek Dog Training is amazing and Marion is an excellent trainer! Marion came to my home for training because we couldn’t fit the puppy classes into our schedule. Included in the home visits was the opportunity for our little Gina to attend her Yappy Hour where she could play with other puppies. She absolutely loved that and we did too! Marion’s caring and gentle approach to training Gina was highly effective. She is an excellent trainer and I highly recommend her.”

“I took Jackson for 4 different courses at Molasses Creek Dog Training by Marion and it was the best thing I ever did for my dog and myself. Marion is so knowledgeable about dogs and answers every question you have. Jackson couldn’t wait to go to school. So funny. He listened and did everything she said. I would highly recommend it for your pup.”
