Bethany Allsop Shave, the owner and trainer, has decades of hands-on experience, having been raised in a family that bred and showed AKC Rough Collies. She actively trains and competes with her own dogs in a wide range of dog sports including conformation, obedience, rally, agility, scent work, herding, and hunting. She also has years of veterinary experience and education.

Bethany is an AKC Certified Canine Good Citizen & Family Dog Evaluator, an AKC Certified Fit Dog Instructor, and an AKC Farm Dog Judge. She is a Professional Member of the International Association of Canine Professionals (IACP) and a Member of The Association for Professional Dog Training International (APDT). She has been a proud member of the Western Lakes Training Club of Buffalo since 2019, having trained with them since 2012. The business is a small, local, woman-owned enterprise.
