Muddy Mutts offers both Board & Train programs and Private Lessons. Board & Train is designed for busy owners, where the trainer teaches the dog initial behaviors, then instructs the owner on maintenance. Private Lessons involve the trainer teaching the owner how to train their dog, fostering a stronger bond. Both options require owner commitment to practice and enforce rules. Training focuses on self-control and daily expectations, covering family dog manners, obedience, puppy socialization, therapy dog prep, tricks, Canine Good Citizen, and competition AKC rally.

Pricing Summary

Boarding is $40 per night. Refresher training for board & train graduates is $80 per night. Board & Train programs start at $1,300. Private lessons are $80-100 per hour. Optional boarding add-ons include Nail Trim ($15), Walk in the Park ($15), Pup Cup Outing ($20), Slatmill Workout ($10), Digital Portrait ($40), Hike Adventure ($30), and Kayak Adventure ($30). Dog photography sessions are $100, with digital images at $40 each, prints from $5, and wall art from $66. If a dog runs out of food during boarding, Orijen Amazing Grains kibble is provided for a daily cost of $2-$7 depending on weight.

Policies

Drop-offs and pick-ups for boarding are strictly by appointment only. Proof of current vaccinations (Rabies, DHPP/DHLPP, Bordetella) is required at least two days prior to boarding. Dogs must be free of fleas and parasites. Medications can be administered if in original, labeled containers, with an owner-provided permission form, but injections are not administered. Owners must provide bedding, food, a flat collar with ID, and payment for any balance due.

Muddy Mutts offers small-scale, personalized dog training and boarding in a loving home environment in Harrah, Oklahoma. The business is run by Raeleen, who has years of experience working with dogs across various industries including training, grooming, daycare, sports, and boarding. She is certified in Pet CPR & First Aid, prioritizing dog safety and providing the same high level of care she expects for her own dogs.

Raeleen specializes in family dog manners and obedience skills, puppy socialization, preparation for therapy dog testing, tricks, Canine Good Citizen, and competition AKC rally. She uses a wide knowledge base to tailor her approach to each dog, aiming to teach self-control and clear expectations through engaging, game-like training sessions.

In addition to training and boarding, Muddy Mutts also offers dog photography services and sells handmade Biothane and beaded dog collars and leashes. The property features 2.5 acres for canine activities, including a fenced yard for group play and training, and a back portion for sniffy walks and recall practice.

The trainer, Raeleen, is an AKC Approved CGC Evaluator and is associated with the Fit Dog Club. She is certified in Pet CPR & First Aid. Her background includes years of experience in various dog industries such as training, grooming, daycare, sports, and boarding. She has trained with and learned from multiple dog trainers with diverse approaches. With her personal dogs, she has trained, dabbled, or competed in obedience, rally, agility, tricks, flyball, therapy dog, canine good citizen, dock diving, and fastcat.

Prospective clients can schedule a ‘meet & greet’ at the property to ensure a good fit. Pups are welcome to attend if their vaccinations are current. For boarding, clients can book directly via the booking calendar. For training, clients are encouraged to reach out to start their dog’s training journey.
