Testimonials

“Miranda Kurtz is a talented dog trainer who uses only positive, animal friendly, training techniques that are based on learning theory and the latest science. I am familiar with her behavior work with shelter dogs and her work with my clients’ dogs in her board and train facility. She is a kind and effective trainer who has excellent communication skills with both animals and people. When my clients are in need of boarding and their dogs could use additional training with a certified, professional dog trainer I quickly recommend Miranda.”
– Sheri Gintner M.S. CDBC, Owner/Lead Trainer, Good Dog! Behavior Training, Fort Collins, CO

“Miranda is an incredible dog trainer that only uses force-free, science-based methods in her work. Miranda’s guidance and insight as a mentor, colleague, and fellow dog training business owner has been invaluable. Finding a trainer you can really trust with your four-legged family members is priceless. Miranda IS such a trainer.”
– Kiyoka Tamesue PSM, KPA CTP, Owner/lead trainer at The Cooperative Canine

“When we met Miranda we were pretty desperate. Our Boston Terrier Archie was terrified of big dogs and anxious in new places and with strangers. We worked with her weekly one-on-one where I watched her transform our precious and horribly scared Archie to a dog that can see other dogs and people and not have a meltdown. Miranda empowered him to understand it is okay to say no thank you instead of show aggression and fear. Instead of being terrified of new places and sounds, he is now elated to put on his harness and leash–ready to go on walks at the park with sounds, people, planes, traffic sounds, birds and other dogs. He is happy, proud, and confident. She not only helped refine his skills, but also gave us tips and training techniques to work on with him. The cost is extremely reasonable and she fits the training program to the dog and the needs. We cannot be more thankful. Highly recommend!!!!”
