nnFollowing this, training goals and expectations are discussed, and a personalized training plan is created. Sometimes, the initial 2-hour session is sufficient to address unwanted behaviors or provide guidance.

nnTheir Board & Train program is typically a 2-week immersive experience where dogs stay with trainers, including 3 private lessons for owners. Private Lessons involve 3, 5, or 8 consecutive sessions where trainers meet with the owner and dog at pre-designated locations weekly or bi-weekly. Virtual Training offers personalized online sessions, each an hour long, including 1-on-1 training, weekly homework, and trainer assistance throughout the program.

Samantha Lindquist, the Operations Manager, worked and competed with horses, then specialized in animal behavior and rescue placement in Animal Care and Control before joining NexGen K9 Training 7 years ago.
