Night and Day K9 Training offers several programs tailored to different needs and ages.

Puppy Management is for puppies 7-16 weeks old, focusing on basic obedience (sit, down, come, heel, leash manners, leave it) and common puppy issues like potty training, nipping, chewing, and kennel training. This program includes 3 in-home sessions or 5 in-facility group class sessions.

Beginners Obedience is for dogs 16 weeks and older, addressing minor issues and teaching basic commands such as sit, down, come, heel position, and leash walking with auto sits. It also helps with nipping, jumping, potty training, kennel training, and house manners. This program requires treats and minimal distractions, and can be completed in 4 in-home or facility sessions, or a 2-3 week board and train program.

Advanced Obedience is for dogs 6 months and older, building on basic skills to improve impulse control, people pleasing, and leadership. It teaches sit-stay, down-stay, loose leash walking with auto sits, heel position, come when called (indoors & outdoors), place & free (30 min stay & distractions), and off-leash control. This program helps with home and average outside distractions and gradually weans dogs off treats. It consists of 5 in-home or facility training sessions, or a 4-week board and train program.

Complete Obedience, also for dogs 6 months and older, aims to create a “perfect dog” for various environments. It covers sit-stay, down-stay, come, leave it, heel position, loose leash walking with auto-sit, off-leash walking with auto-sit, place/free (1 hour stay), high distraction work, and public distractions. This program is designed for high distractions and/or extensive behavior modification needs, offered as 10 in-home or facility sessions, or a 6-week board and train program.

Aggression/Anxiety training is available for dogs of any age who react with intentions to harm or whose anxiety prevents them from living a full life. This program is personalized to each dog and household situation, available as 12 in-home or facility sessions, or an 8-week board and train program.

Testimonials

“We had a wonderful experience with Night and Day K9 Training for our dog Bruce! We looked everywhere and are so glad we chose them!! Bruce was untrainable and with 2 young kids we had to look into a board and train program! Bruce came back a totally different dog and a year later still remembers his training!”
– Brandon B.

“We LOVE night and day k9 training. We adopted two pit bull puppies and immediately started looking for where we could train them. We settled on Night and Day and are so glad we did. Merenda came to train them as 8 week puppies and has continued to train them as they grow. The difference in them and us has been life changing. They know to sit when our cats walk by, to walk calmly outside and how to go on place when it’s time to settle down. Adopting two puppies was a lot more than we anticipated but thanks to Night and Day we can enjoy our babes instead of stressing over how to reign them in each day. This truly changed our (and their) lives. Our dogs are our babies so we wanted the very best training for them, and we found it with Night and Day K9. You will not regret calling them to train your dogs.”
– Anna C.

“Night & Day K9 Training has been amazing. We recently adopted a Border Collie mix that was showing signs of food/possession aggression and decided to go with Night & Day. Meranda has been an amazing trainer by focusing on addressing the root issue while taking the time to not only train our dog, but teach us as well. After a few weeks, the results started to show and we couldn’t have been more pleased. Overall, Night and Day has been a great experience for us and would recommend them to anyone for both training and boarding.”
– Caitlin S.
