Bethany has helped us with our 1.5 year old sheltie Daisy with her confidence by giving us the tools needed to correct her behavior. There was improvement after the first training. Highly recommend!!!

Wonderful experience! Well worth the time and money. We did the 4 class puppy training for our German Shepard. Bethany made sure to pay special attention to her and explain every step clearly. Emails of our lessons kept me on track, and we almost didn’t need our last lesson! Our dog did so well. Thanks again Bethany!

About the Trainer

No Bad K-9 Training is a dog training business run by Bethany Bleiler, who helps dog owners build stronger relationships with their dogs through positive reinforcement, pack leadership, and game-based training. She offers private lessons, small group classes (limited to two dogs), day training, and grooming services. Her group classes are tailored for puppies and adult dogs, covering basic obedience, manners, self-control, recall, leash manners, and impulse control. She emphasizes reading dog body language and clear communication to foster mutual trust. Bethany has over ten years of grooming experience and is certified in dog behavior through the International College of Canine Studies, with a certification expected in December 2021. She also has a competitive background in agility and conformation, including national rankings and awards. Her day training program includes in-home sessions with video recordings and a final private lesson for owners to continue progress. She does not train dogs with human or dog aggression and requires consultations for such cases.

Bethany’s training approach combines positive reinforcement with structured leadership techniques, helping owners establish reliable obedience and reduce bad habits. She provides clear, step-by-step guidance and encourages home practice through email lesson summaries. Her small group sizes ensure personalized attention, and she offers flexible scheduling to accommodate busy owners.

In addition to training, she provides professional dog grooming services under apprenticeship with Deb Chesky, making her a comprehensive resource for dog care needs.

Accomplishments

Bethany Bleiler earned Best Junior Handler at the Australian Shepherd Club’s National Specialty in 2011 and High In Trial awards with her Australian Shepherds.
