Their training philosophy is that every dog is unique, and for that reason, every dog should not be thrown into a cookie-cutter type training program. They carefully evaluate each dog and their owners to come up with the best way to see you and your dog succeed. They offer basic to advanced obedience training and gun dog training.

The Foundations program covers basic obedience commands such as here, sit, stay, heel, place, and whoa for pointing breeds. This program typically takes 4 to 6 weeks for dogs over 5 months old. This foundational training is considered critical for more advanced development.

Gun Dog Development programs are tailored for Flushers, Pointers, and Retrievers. For Flushers, goals include quartering within gun range, collar conditioning for recall and sit, hunting dead, marking ability, and handling. For Pointers, goals include whoa on cue, collar conditioning for recall, steadiness on point, honoring another dog, marking ability, hunting dead, and handling. For Retrievers, goals include heel, collar conditioning for recall and sit, place, handling in a blind, steadiness, honoring another dog’s retrieve, trained retrieve, casting, and blind retrieves. They also offer Hunt Test Prep & Handling for AKC Pointing Dog Hunt Tests (Junior, Senior & Master) and NAVHDA Testing (Natural Ability & Utility Tests).

Pricing Summary

Boarding is $40 per day for one dog or $65 per day for two dogs sharing a run. Training prices are available per month upon contact. Upland hunts are priced at $850 per gun per day for 3 or more hunters, or $2,400 per gun for a 3-day package. For 1-2 hunters, upland hunts are $1,000 per gun per day. A semi-guided upland hunt in January is $450 per gun per day. Waterfowl hunts are $650 per gun per day for a minimum of 3 hunters, or $450 per gun per day for a minimum of 3 hunters. A deposit of half the total hunt price is due at booking, and all deposits are non-refundable.
