Dog Training Methodology
Northbound K9 LLC offers Private Lessons and Solo Sessions. Private Lessons are designed for you and your dog, providing skills, tools, and information for successful training, often held in your home or other dog-friendly locations. Solo Sessions involve the trainer working 1:1 with your dog in your home or neighborhood, with a summary provided afterwards; these are available to clients currently enrolled in or who have completed Private Lessons.

Pricing Summary
Single Private Lesson or Solo Session: $80. Package of 5 Private Lessons or Solo Sessions: $375. Package of 10 Private Lessons or Solo Sessions: $720.
About the Trainer
Northbound K9 LLC is a dog training business led by Stevie Klaven, offering individualized and in-home lessons designed to help dogs and owners succeed. They provide training for puppy development, basic and advanced obedience, and behavior modification.

Accomplishments
Stevie Klaven discovered her passion for dog training in 2019. She completed apprenticeships under Head Trainers at The Homeschooled Pooch and A New Day Dog Training in Duluth, MN. She graduated from The Michael Ellis School For Dog Trainers in Santa Rosa, CA, where she studied under top industry professionals. Stevie also completed a course on canine conditioning taught by Dr. Erica Boling of Northeast K9 Conditioning. Prior to her dog training career, she worked as a Team Lead and Trainer at a dog daycare and boarding facility while earning her Bachelor’s degree in Communication and Minor in Business Administration at the University of Minnesota, Duluth.
How to Get Started!
To begin training, clients must complete a Training Consultation Form and Service Agreement. After review, an in-person consultation will be scheduled. An in-person consultation is required for all new clients. Dogs must be current on vaccinations prior to meeting, with records sent to trainer@northboundk9llc.com.
