Northwoods K9 Sports offers 6-week group classes, each lasting 1 hour. These include Puppy Class, Beginner Obedience, and Advanced Obedience. Agility classes are also offered in a progressive series: Beginner Agility, Agility 1, Agility 2, and Agility 3.

One-on-one sessions are available by request for specific needs such as problem solving, aggression, or at-home training. Agility classes are conducted in a fully enclosed arena, allowing dogs to start on leashes and advance to off-leash work.

Pricing & Policies

Pricing Summary

Group classes (Puppy, Beginner, Advanced Obedience, and all Agility levels) are $75 total for a 6-week course. One-on-one session pricing is by request. Payment is due by the second week of class and can be made by cash or check. Gift certificates are available.

Policies

Classes may be cancelled due to storm watches or warnings, with clients notified by call/message, and the class schedule will be pushed back one week. Clients who need to cancel for any reason should call.

If a dog is sick or in heat, it should be left at home, but the handler is encouraged to attend class without the dog. Clients should call at least 30 minutes before class if they will miss. Vaccinations are required before starting class. Dogs must be leashed at all times, and nose-to-nose contact with strange dogs is prohibited.

Ulrike (Kat) Cline, co-founder, has over 20 years of dog experience, including competing in obedience with German Shepherds and agility with Border Collies, earning 9 titles. She dedicated 12 years to the Leader Dog for the Blind puppy raising program, successfully training 9 puppies to become Seeing Eye Dogs.
