The club organizes social activities for members and their dogs, such as the Oakmutt Doggie Day Dog Show and Members Appreciation Parties. About the Trainer
The Oakmont Canine Club serves as a community forum for dog owners who are members of the Oakmont Village Association (OVA). Its primary purpose is to facilitate the gathering and sharing of information concerning the health and overall well-being of canine companions.
Members have the opportunity to socialize with other dog owners, discuss their pets’ health needs, and benefit from insights shared by health professionals and veterinarians. The club also provides a platform for sharing practical information on various topics, including dog sitters, medical needs, and supplies.
Beyond information exchange, the club actively organizes social activities for both members and their dogs, such as the annual Oakmutt Doggie Day Dog Show and Members Appreciation Parties. Additionally, the club manages the Happy Tails Dog Park, which includes specific reserved hours for small dog play. They also offer a valuable list of local dog walkers, sitters, and boarders to assist members.
