About the Trainer

The Obedience Training Club of Palm Beach County (OTCPBC) is one of Florida’s oldest dog obedience training clubs, established in 1953. It operates as a not-for-profit organization, licensed by the American Kennel Club, and comprises approximately 100 members. The club has a long history of training tens of thousands of dogs in the area, including those from Palm Beach County Animal Care & Control.

OTCPBC offers a wide array of classes, ranging from basic obedience and puppy training to specialized tricks and Canine Good Citizen preparation. They also introduce dog owners to various dog sports such as agility, nose work, rally, tracking, and competition obedience.

A significant advantage of OTCPBC is its long-standing presence and its ownership of a dedicated training facility since 2013. Furthermore, its members include experienced AKC Judges for Conformation, Obedience, Tracking, Rally, Agility, and Scent Work, as well as Evaluators for AKC’s S.T.A.R. Puppy, CGC Testing program, Trick Dog, Temperament Tests, and Therapy Dogs International’s TDI Test.
