The All Breed Basic Obedience program is an on-lead program focusing on essential commands, attention training, positive reinforcement, and introductory e-collar conditioning to build communication and trust. The All Breed Advanced Obedience is a six-week course for all breeds, focusing on reliable off-leash control and precision with commands like Here (Recall), Heel, Sit, Stay, and Kennel, ensuring dogs are collar conditioned.
The Basic Gun Dog program is a 4-month course for dogs six months or older, covering basic obedience, collar conditioning, and force fetch, enabling single marked retrieves, delivery to hand, and steadiness to shot, including retrieving through decoys and from a dog stand. The Advanced Gun Dog program is an additional 4-6 months for dogs completing the basic program, teaching blind retrieves using hand signals and whistles. The AKC Field Trial Program is for dogs from specific pedigrees, designed for challenging competitions testing mental toughness, intelligence, and obedience.
The Puppy Head Start program is for puppies 4-6 months old, teaching proper socialization, treat training for basic commands, name recognition, and introduction to water, birds, and gunfire. The annual Snake Avoidance Clinic, held each August, is led by Wayne Lain and uses live, harmless snakes to train dogs to avoid dangerous snakes through association with e-collar stimulation. Boarding services are available for all breeds, strictly based on availability, with dogs aired twice daily in secure, fenced yards.
