About the Trainer
The Orlando Dog Training Club (ODTC) is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization that has been helping Central Floridians train their dogs for over 70 years, since its founding in 1951. They utilize a balanced training approach built on positive reinforcement and rewards, aiming to help every dog be happy, healthy, and well-behaved.
ODTC offers a wide range of high-quality training services for dogs of all kinds, including purebreds and mixed breeds, puppies and adults. Their programs cover everything from puppy training and basic obedience to advanced obedience, conformation classes, and scentwork.
The club operates from its own indoor, air-conditioned training facility, with classes offered Monday through Thursday evenings, and some morning/afternoon sessions. Classes are typically 8 weeks long, though some are shorter, and are open to both ODTC members and non-members. Prospective students are welcome to visit classes without their dog on Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday evenings to observe.
