Testimonials
We took our 2 year old Flat Coated Retriever here for a 6 week training program and he came home a totally new dog! He is now excellent at recall for off-leash activities, he stays on his “place” for all meal times, he no longer jumps on people when excited, and he is over all a much more confident boy and a total pleasure to live with! Kass works wonders and we are so grateful for her work with Red! We would recommend her to anyone!

10/10!!! Our stubborn, loud, and wild lab mix 6 month old puppy is now a DREAM! We did the 2 week training and it has changed the game. He is so responsible now, truly listens to us and makes decisions on his own on how to behave better and how to handle situations.

I sent my doberman to Kass for a 2 week training session, and could not be happier with the results. Our Doberman came back fully off the leash trained, full recall. She also did wonders working on his reactivity towards other dogs. Before I sent Henley, he would lose his mind in the presence of unknown dogs. Now Henley has found more constructive ways to deal with that behavior.

About the Trainer
Pacesetter Training Kennel is a professional dog training business founded by Kass Goulding, who has been training dogs since 1973 and opened the kennel in 1994. The business offers intensive board-and-train programs designed to transform dogs’ behavior through structured, in-kennel training. Services include three main training programs—Just the Basics (7 days), Total Recall (14 days), and WOW! (30 days)—all of which include boarding, daily training, socialization, and follow-up support. Housebreaking and crate training are included in the WOW! program and available as an add-on for others. The kennel also provides pet boarding with free group socials and lifetime refresher training during any future boarding stays. Kass uses a balanced approach combining leadership, obedience, and remote collar training to address issues like recall, reactivity, jumping, separation anxiety, and potty training. Her methods emphasize consistent structure and lifelong behavior management, with a focus on building a strong owner-dog relationship. The business is located in Winterville, GA, and serves clients primarily in the Athens, GA area and surrounding regions.
Pacesetter Training Kennel is known for its high-touch, results-driven model, with a 100% satisfaction guarantee on all programs. Clients receive on-site checkout lessons, unlimited email support for years after training, and discounted or free boarding benefits. The kennel does not accept giant breeds over 60 lbs for the WOW! program and does not train aggressive dogs in that program. Training is conducted at the facility, not in-home, and all programs require dogs to stay at the kennel for the duration.
The business also offers add-ons such as additional dog enrollment, on-site follow-up lessons at $75/hour, and discounts for UGA affiliates and active military personnel. Kass’s decades of experience, including apprenticeship and rehab work with dogs with bite histories, lend credibility to her methods.
Pacesetter Training Kennel does not offer grooming, walking, daycare, or retail services, focusing exclusively on training and boarding.
Email inquiries must include “dog training” in the subject line; text is preferred for faster response.

How to Get Started!
