Pacific Northwest K9 Training offers several programs:

Board & Train Basic Obedience: This is a two-week stay at their facility where dogs learn basic commands such as sit, down, place, heel, house, and break. The program also covers manners like not jumping on people and grooming etiquette, focusing on maximizing a dog’s impulse control.

Board & Train Advanced Obedience: Designed for graduates of their Basic Obedience classes, this program teaches advanced commands including in-motion sit, in-motion down, distance sit, distance down, and puppy push-ups. It is for clients who wish to go beyond basic obedience.

Lessons Basic Obedience: This option is for owners willing to work daily with their dogs, with occasional help and direction from a trainer. It covers basic commands like sit, down, place, heel, house, and break. These classes are owner-driven and can be set to the dog and owner’s pace and schedule. Teaching commands in another language can be discussed with the trainer.

Lessons Advanced Obedience: Available for those who have completed Basic Obedience lessons or Board & Train Basic Obedience. This program includes in-motion sit, in-motion down, distance sit, distance down, and puppy push-ups, aiming to enhance impulse control and strengthen the bond between dog and owner.

Group Lessons: (Currently Unavailable) This format is for owners who prefer to train with others. It can cover programs from Basic to Advanced Obedience, and clients can gather their own group of family and friends to save on costs.

Basic Virtual Classes and Advanced Virtual Classes: (Coming Soon)

Boarding: A “Board & touch up” service is available for dogs that have completed at least one lesson. While boarding, dogs receive refresher sessions to maintain their training. Discounts are offered for multiple-day stays.

About the Trainer

Pacific Northwest K9 Training is a dog training business dedicated to helping dog owners train their pets and bring structure to their lives. They work with any breed, any age, and any temperament of dog. The business strives to create customized training plans to be effective in every household, aiming to give each handler the confidence and knowledge to take their dog into any type of environment.

Their mission is to make all dogs great dogs, envisioning a world where all dogs can coexist and still have utmost obedience. The primary trainer, Tim Fisher, is a graduate of the Tom Rose School for Professional Dog Trainers and is actively pursuing certifications to perform CGC and TDI evaluations. He is passionate about dogs and aims to create balance for dogs and their beloved owners.

Pacific Northwest K9 Training offers various programs including Board & Train for basic and advanced obedience, and private Lessons for basic and advanced obedience. They also provide boarding services for dogs that have completed at least one lesson, which includes refresher sessions. Accomplishments

The primary trainer, Tim Fisher, graduated from the Tom Rose School for Professional Dog Trainers in Missouri. He is actively pursuing certifications to perform Canine Good Citizen (CGC) and Therapy Dogs International (TDI) evaluations. Tim has successfully worked with and trained many dogs, helping them and their owners effectively work together.

How to Get Started!

To begin working with Pacific Northwest K9 Training, clients must first fill out an intake form. Following this, they will receive a call or email with any questions and to provide a price or quote. A contract will then be sent over, and once it is filled out, times and dates for training can be scheduled.
