Pack Pawsitive offers two main training programs: Puppy School and Beyond the Basics, in addition to Enrichment Daycare.

The Puppy School Program is a comprehensive 4-week program designed specifically for puppies. It includes 3 weeks of in-class instruction from Monday to Thursday (8am-3pm), focusing on 5 fundamental cues (Place, Recall/Come, Leave It, Down & Sit), general manners, leash manners, doorway manners, and proper socialization skills. The 4th week is a guided practice week at home, culminating in an in-person transfer training session. Daily report cards, a digital resource library with homework and informational handouts, and pre-recorded how-to videos are provided.

The Beyond the Basics Program is a 3-week intensive program, also running Monday to Thursday (8am-3pm), aimed at advancing a pup’s basic obedience skills. This program focuses on proofing and reinforcing previously learned cues, introducing intermediate cues like Heel, Center, and Touch, and improving skills using the “3 D’s” (Duration, Distance, Distractions). It also reinforces general manners, doorway manners, and proper socialization skills, incorporating enrichment activities. Daily report cards, access to a digital resource library, pre-recorded how-to videos, and weekly check-in calls with the trainer are included.

Enrichment Daycare is a unique program that goes beyond typical doggy daycare by teaching positive social interactions, developing good manners, and providing biological fulfillment through enrichment activities. It incorporates basic training, games, and mentally stimulating puzzles, suitable for dogs of all ages. Daycare is available for half-day (6 hours or less) or full-day (up to 11 hours).

Pricing Summary

The Beyond the Basics Program and Puppy School Program each cost $1500. For Beyond the Basics, payment options include one payment of $1500 or two payments of $750. For Puppy School, payment options include one payment of $1500, two payments of $750, or three payments of $500.

Enrichment Daycare is priced at $55 per day for a half day (6 hours or less) and $65 per day for a full day (up to 11 hours). An evaluation appointment costs $50, which will be applied to the enrollment fee if the pup passes the evaluation and enrolls in a training program.

Policies

All dogs attending programs must be current on Canine Influenza, Leptospirosis, Distemper/Parvo (DHPP/DH2PP), Bordetella (kennel cough), and Rabies vaccinations. Customers are responsible for keeping vaccinations up to date and providing records; services will be suspended if vaccinations lapse.

For Puppy School, pups must not be reactive towards other dogs. The program primarily works with pups up to 1.5 years old, with occasional exceptions for pups up to 2 years. For Beyond the Basics, there is no age limit, but an evaluation is required if the pup did not complete their Puppy School Program.

For Enrichment Daycare, all dogs must be spayed/neutered, though exceptions are made for puppies up to 1 year old on a case-by-case basis if their unaltered status is not disruptive. All sales are final, and the company does not offer money-back guarantees. Users can cancel subscriptions at any time by emailing contact@packpawsitive.com, with the subscription terminating at the end of the existing period without further charges.

How to Get Started!

To get started with Puppy School or Enrichment Daycare, interested clients should email contact@packpawsitive.com. For the Beyond the Basics Program, if a pup has not completed Pack Pawsitive’s Puppy School Program, an evaluation is required. This 1-hour evaluation costs $50, which is applied to the enrollment fee if the pup passes and enrolls. To schedule an evaluation, clients should email contact@packpawsitive.com.

For Enrichment Daycare, there is currently a waitlist, and new clients are generally accepted only if their pups complete the Puppy School Program and are evaluated as a good fit. The daycare evaluation process is multi-step, involving an initial evaluation followed by at least one day of Socialization Training Camp before a pup can begin attending daycare.
