PacwestK9 offers a range of training programs tailored to different needs. All services begin with an evaluation, which costs $75 and lasts about 30 minutes, conducted at their facility. This evaluation helps determine the best training program for your dog.
The Puppy Class Package, designed for puppies aged ten weeks to five months, covers core fundamentals like puppy engagement, communication platforms, house rules, environmental desensitizing, and pack leadership roles through 30-minute private sessions over six weeks. Basic Obedience training focuses on leash handling skills and commands such as Focus, Sit, Down, Come, Heel, and Place/Climb, delivered through five private sessions and five group classes. Advanced Obedience builds upon basic skills, covering off-leash training, long sit, climb from a distance, long down, recall, stand, healing, and moving exercises, offered in seven private sessions and five group classes. Enrollment in Advanced Obedience requires completion of Basic Obedience.
Behavior Modification is specifically for canines with mild to severe behavioral issues, including various forms of aggression (leash, dog, food, people) and fearfulness, provided through six private sessions and five group classes. E-Collar Training is designed for handlers to effectively integrate E-Collars into their training approach, ensuring fair tool practices, and includes six private sessions and six group classes (E-Collar not included).
Board and Train programs offer intensive training: a 14-day program focuses on foundation obedience (Sit, Down, Stand, Focus, Place, Loose Leash Walking) with three follow-up private transfer sessions. A more extensive 30-day program covers foundation obedience and addresses challenging behaviors like fear of people, dog aggression, obsessive-compulsive reactivity, and everyday manners, followed by five private transfer sessions. The Working Dog program is for enthusiasts, educating handlers and K9s on bite building and controlled aggression through obedience, covering alert watch, bite and confidence building, drive work, competition exercises, vehicle protection, and house security, requiring a minimum of 5 sessions.
Beyond training, PacwestK9 provides Structured Boarding at $65 per night, which includes free roam, socialization, and walks, requiring clients to provide their dog’s food and proof of current vaccinations. The PupFit program offers mental and physical stimulation for dogs, incorporating high-quality treadmills and an obstacle course, with individualized programs based on breed, weight, age, and temperament, available on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7 AM to 7 PM.
