Pals Dog Training offers three main service options: Coaching, Hybrid, and Done-For-You (also referred to as Professionally-Trained for service and therapy dogs). The Coaching option includes one session per week where the owner is taught how to train their dog.
The Hybrid program consists of one session per week focused on teaching the owner, complemented by one session per week where the trainer works directly with the dog to accelerate progress. The Done-For-You program is an intensive option with three sessions per week where the trainer works directly with the dog to build skills, plus one transfer session per week to teach the owner and dog to apply these skills together.

The business is led by Dominic Medina, who serves as the owner, trainer, and behavior consultant. He is committed to using humane, safe, and effective training techniques, specifically positive reinforcement, and adheres to Least Intrusive, Minimally Aversive (LIMA) principles. Dominic has extensive experience working with thousands of dogs and owners, including successfully training life-changing service dogs and professional therapy dogs.

Accomplishments
Dominic Medina has over 10 years of experience studying learning theory, evolutionary biology, and applied behavior analysis. He has worked with thousands of dogs and owners through various programs, including group classes, behavior consultations, private lessons, and board-and-train programs.
He has successfully trained life-changing service dogs and professional therapy dogs, including 2 years of training with an Assistance Dogs International (ADI)-accredited organization. He has 7 years of service dog training experience and 6 years of professional therapy dog training experience. Dominic was personally mentored by Tia Guest, the founding director of the Karen Pryor Academy for Animal Training and Behavior, in developing and refining his training services. He exceeds the yearly continuing education requirements set by the Certification Council of Professional Dog Trainers and is a member of the Association of Professional Dog Trainers, adhering to its professional and ethical standards. He has trained over 1,000 dogs with 100% 5-star reviews.
