Parker K9 offers several intensive board and train programs. The Basic Puppy Course, priced at $875, involves a 7-10 day stay focusing on potty/crate training, obedience fundamentals through engagement with food, and socialization. This course includes a treat pouch and a 1/2 hour go-home session.

The Puppy to Adult Training Course, costing $2,875, begins with the Basic Puppy Course. Once the puppy reaches 6 months or older, they return for an additional two weeks of adult obedience training. This comprehensive program includes a treat pouch, a raised place bed, a slip leash, and a remote training collar. The payment for this course is split, with $875 paid at the initial puppy drop-off and the remaining $2,000 at the adult portion drop-off.

For adult dogs (6 months and older), the 3 Week Board and Train program is available for $2,675. This program includes an E-Collar Technologies ET-300 training collar, a raised dog bed, and a slip leash. Dogs in this program will develop a solid recall, master stay and place commands, and learn to walk nicely in the heel position. The program also addresses unwanted behaviors and includes public outings to ensure focus amidst distractions. Upon completion, clients receive a 1-2 hour appointment to transition their dog’s new obedience, along with lifetime follow-up phone/email support.

All board and train dogs reside safely in the Parker K9 home and enjoy training sessions, public outings, exercise, and playtime on the 6-acre property. Regular updates with photos and videos are provided to owners.

Scott Parker, the Head Trainer, is a retired Sheriff’s Sergeant with extensive experience in dog sports, having advanced to the highest level of French Ring competition. He mentored with renowned trainers and worked with hundreds of dogs of all breeds, ages, sizes, and temperaments at Innovative K9 Academy. Jasmine Parker, the Trainer and Front Office, brings nearly 15 years of experience from the Sheriff’s Office.

The business offers board and train programs, treating dogs as their own while they stay on a 6-acre property that includes a pond for exercise and playtime. Clients receive regular updates with photos and videos of their dog’s progress.

Accomplishments

Scott Parker is the Owner and Head Trainer. He is a retired Sheriff’s Sergeant who competed in French Ring dog sport, advancing to the highest level in early 2020 and training for the national championship. Scott mentored with David Broderick and Sean Knudsen of Innovative K9 Academy in Utah, where he worked as a trainer with hundreds of dogs of all breeds, ages, sizes, and temperaments. Jasmine Parker is a Trainer and Front Office staff member, with almost 15 years of experience working for the Salt Lake County Sheriff’s Office/Unified Police Department.
