Pricing & Policies

Pricing Summary

Rattlesnake Avoidance training is priced under $110 and takes less than 20 minutes. Group classes are described as reasonably priced. The 2-Week Camp is considered worth the cost.

Policies

A minimum age of 20 weeks is required for general programs, and 6 months for Rattlesnake Avoidance Training, with no maximum age or breed limitations. Owners can bring their dog’s own food, with extra provided, and medications must be in original packaging with exact counts. Required vaccinations include Bordetella, Rabies, and Distemper/Parvo, administered at least one week prior to arrival. Recently rescued dogs must be home for at least 30 days before attending.

The Scottsdale location has overnight staff, while the Cave Creek facility does not, though an owner lives on the property. For Rattlesnake Avoidance, e-collars are used with minimal energy, and clients are welcome to test them. Live, intact rattlesnakes are used in double mesh wire cages. Refreshers for snake avoidance are recommended every 6 months to 1 year. The training is effective only for live rattlesnakes. Clients can watch training if it doesn’t distract the dog or trainer, and the trainers prefer to handle the dogs themselves to ensure focus and effective methods. While there’s a 95% success rate during training, results in the wild are not guaranteed due to environmental variables. In case of a snakebite, immediate veterinary attention is advised, and the rattlesnake vaccine is recommended.

Testimonials

“Partners Dogs 2-Week Camp was worth every penny! Nicole at the Scottsdale location was amazing and went above and beyond! Bella came home with a strong heel, sit, down, hit your spot (place), and recall. The follow-up lesson was helpful and we worked on a few more commands.”
– Linda P. from Google

“We sent our little Lily to the overnight camp for 3 weeks. It was tough at first and we missed her so much but she came back changed for the better. She is eager to please and excited to do well and listen. Her main trainer was Monica, who grew very close to Lily. She kept us updated at all times and was super quick to respond to any emails. We raved about it so much that my parents did the same thing for their dog Walt.”
– Katelyn R. from Google

“Always a great dog training experience! I’ve been taking my Husky named “Cash” to Partners for over a year, for boarding, training, and grooming! Their behavior training probably saved his life! Forever grateful- Jay D.”
