Patapsco Paws offers a variety of training programs for different ages and needs. The “Free Pet Selection & Adoption Consultation” helps owners find a dog that matches their lifestyle.

For puppies, “Puppy Play Time” is a Saturday socialization session for puppies 10 weeks to 6 months old, lasting 45 minutes and costing $15. “Puppy Foundation” is a 7-week group class for puppies 8 to 16 weeks, covering basic obedience, care, and feeding.

Adolescent dogs (6 months to 2 years) can attend “Adolescent Dog Play Time” on Saturdays for an hour of social play, also $15. For adult dogs over 16 weeks, the “Adult Dog Foundation” 7-week group class focuses on basic obedience, body language, and behavior problem prevention.

Specialized classes include “Let the Games Begin!” and “Can You Recall?”, both 75-minute sessions costing $40. “Let the Games Begin!” uses fun games to build relationships and manners, covering skills like loose leash walking, recall, and stays. “Can You Recall?” specifically focuses on stay and come when called.

For personalized attention, “Private Dog Training Lessons” are available, starting with an initial consultation for $100, followed by $75 per session ($10 for an additional dog). Group classes, limited to no more than 6 dogs, are semi-private and run for 7 weeks at $175. These include “Intermediate Dog Manners” and “Advanced Dog Manners” for dogs that have completed a foundation class, building on basic skills with distractions, distance, and off-leash work.

Private Dog Training Lessons include an initial consultation for $100, followed by $75 per session, with an additional $10 for a second dog per session. There is no charge for travel expenses. Group Dog and Puppy Training Classes are $175 for all 7 weeks.
