Patriot Dog Training aims to help pups realize their full potential through owner education, guided socialization, and outstanding care. They employ holistic, balanced, professional, and comprehensive methodologies for both dog training and boarding. Their programs focus on behavior correction with wholesome care, results-based training with clear communication, and guided interactions with structured play.
They offer adult dog training to address nuisance behaviors and more, as well as puppy training to establish an excellent foundation of abilities. In addition to training, Patriot Dog Training provides dog boarding in a state-of-the-art facility and doggy daycare services. They also offer dogs for sale and a convenient dog pickup service for daycare or boarding clients.
The business is led by founder Benito Olson, who has extensive experience training dogs for Navy SEAL teams. He develops custom programs tailored to each dog and owner’s individual needs.
Accomplishments
Benito Olson, the founder of Patriot Dog Training, served in the Navy as Master at Arms Chief Petty Officer, where he was recruited to train dogs for Navy SEAL teams in obedience, detection, protection, and tracking. He graduated first in his class from The Tom Rose School.
His qualifications include the Armin Winkler Tactical K9 Team Course, Department of Defense K9 Handlers Course, Department of Defense Kennel Master/Trainers Course, The Tom Rose School for Professional Dog Trainers Graduate, This Able Veteran PTSD Dog Trainers Course, George Hickox Clicker and E-Collar Trainer Course, Randy Hare On Target Detection Trainers Course, Castle K9 “Franco Angelini” Bite Dr. Decoy Course, and Bart Bellon NePoPo® Silver and Gold School Graduate. He has trained hundreds of pets and working dogs throughout his career. Benito Olson is also the author of “The Underdogs Conquering Life with Man’s Best Friend and Seal Team.”
