Paw2Paw offers a variety of training programs to suit different needs. Group Classes include Primary School (Level 1 Basic Manners) for dogs 4 months and older, covering basic cues like sit, down, stay, and loose leash walking, along with preventing common problem behaviors. Intermediate School (Level 2 Manners) is for dogs who have completed Primary School and aims to advance skills towards Canine Good Citizen certification.

Online Courses are available on-demand and include Pre-Puppy Primer, designed for prospective puppy owners; Puppy Preschool for puppies aged 8-16 weeks, focusing on acclimation and socialization; and Primary School (Basic Manners) for puppies and dogs 4 months and up, teaching essential manners and problem-solving. All online courses provide access to a private Facebook group and ongoing personal support.

Private Training offers personalized, one-on-one instruction for specific behavioral issues or basic manners, available face-to-face at a neutral location or in the client’s home, or virtually. In-Home Day Training is designed for busy owners, where the trainer works with the dog in their home, followed by transfer sessions to teach the owner how to maintain the learned behaviors. This option includes packages for Basic Manners or customized training for specific issues.

Pricing Summary

In-Home Day Training offers two packages: Basic Manners Training for $1150, which includes an in-home consultation, 9 training sessions with the dog, and 3 transfer sessions over 4 weeks. Customized Training starts at $400 and includes a minimum of one free in-home consultation, 3 training sessions with the dog, and 1 transfer session.

Online Courses are priced individually: Pre-Puppy Primer is $25, Puppy Pre-School is $45, and Primary School is $65. A 10% discount is available for new puppy owners on online courses using coupon code NEWPUPPY.

Private Training options include a Face-to-Face Private Session for $125 (60-90 minutes at a neutral location or in your home) and a Virtual Private Session for $65 (up to 60 minutes via Zoom, Facetime, or phone call).

Paw2Paw “Paw”sitive Dog Training is led by Jonna Spiller, a Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT-KA). Jonna combines her lifelong love for dogs with 30 years of experience as a high school mathematics teacher to help owners effectively communicate with their canine companions.

The business is founded on a positive dog training philosophy, emphasizing reinforcement of appropriate behaviors and elimination of inappropriate ones without the use of fear or pain. Jonna adheres to Least Intrusive, Minimally Aversive (LIMA) Effective Behavior Intervention policies, aiming to build an unbreakable bond between dogs and their owners.

Paw2Paw offers a diverse range of training options, including face-to-face group classes, online on-demand courses, private in-home training, and in-home day training. Jonna provides ongoing personal support to clients, particularly through private Facebook groups for online course participants.

Accomplishments

Jonna Spiller has a lifelong passion for animals and has raised and trained dogs from a young age, specializing in basic and advanced obedience skills, and has also trained therapy dogs. She was a high school mathematics teacher for 30 years, retiring in 2024, and received numerous accolades, including Teacher of the Year for her district in 2011, 2017, and 2019, and for Region 10 of Texas in 2017.

In 2020, Jonna pursued professional dog training, attending CATCH Canine Trainers Academy and graduating in April 2021 with Academic Distinction and an overall average of 98%. She successfully achieved professional certification by the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers (CPDT-KA®) in March 2024. Jonna is also a member of the Association of Professional Dog Trainers.
