PAWS Dog School

PAWS offers a comprehensive range of agility classes, including Beginners Agility, Advanced Beginners Agility (Level 1 & 2), Level 3 Agility, Level 4 Agility, Level 5/6 Agility, and an Extreme Competition Class. They also provide a Puppy Agility Class and Evening Clicker Obedience.

Beyond regular classes, PAWS offers Online Agility Lessons, Seminars, Mini Handling Workshops, and Specialty Classes. PAWSitive Agility Working School (PAWS) was founded by Debbie Spence in November 1996 in Keller, Texas, and later relocated to New Fairview, Texas in 2002. The school specializes in dog agility training, focusing on enhancing the bond between handlers and their dogs while engaging in the challenges of training and competing in the sport.

Debbie Spence has a reputation for solving agility training problems and works effectively with a wide range of dog sizes and personalities, from Dachshunds to Great Danes. She employs positive training methods tailored to meet the needs of each team, emphasizing the handler/dog relationship in her classes and seminars.

PAWS offers various agility classes, including beginner to advanced levels, as well as an Extreme Competition Class. They also provide online agility lessons, seminars, mini handling workshops, specialty classes, and “Show ‘n’ Go” events. Additionally, PAWS offers Evening Clicker Obedience and Puppy Agility classes.

Accomplishments

Debbie Spence began her agility journey in 1989, attending her first class at Dallas Agility Working Group (DAWG), where she has been a member ever since. In November 1996, she founded her own school, PAWSitive Agility Working School (PAWS).

Debbie has developed a highly successful training program that helps students strengthen their bond with their dogs while enjoying the sport of dog agility. She is recognized for her ability to solve agility training problems and effectively trains dogs of all sizes and personalities.
