Accomplishments

Ashley Douglas, the Owner and Head Trainer, earned her Certified Professional Dog Trainer Certification from National K9 in 2017. She has 18 years of experience as an upper elementary school teacher and previously worked at a law enforcement dog training facility. Ashley has attended the International Association of Canine Professionals conference, Puppy Potential Workshop, and Hope Service Dogs Service Dog Training Seminar.

Jaxx Long, a trainer, holds a dog trainer certification from Animal Behavioral College and is certified in the proper use of Herm Sprenger training products. She is a professional member of the International Association of Canine Professionals (IACP) and actively pursues continuing education. Blake Forkner, an Obedience and Service Dog Trainer, has over ten years of training experience and is also the head trainer for Meika’s Helping Paws in Savannah, GA, where she trains service dogs. Blake competes with her own dogs in various AKC sports, including obedience, rally, agility, lure coursing, dock diving, and therapy dog work.
