About the Trainer
Pawsitive Play, LLC was founded in 2013 by Christina Loveland-Dupuis, whose passion for animals and dog behavior led her to dog training after unsatisfactory experiences with traditional trainers for her own dogs. The business offers a unique blend of training, nutrition, and pet care, focusing on reward-based methods to foster a strong bond between dogs and their owners.
Pawsitive Play aims to provide an exceptional experience where training and playtime converge. They are described as Greater Portland’s premier pet care service, ensuring pets are happy and healthy under their expert and trustworthy care. Services include dog daycare, daycare training, dog walking, pet sitting, pet boarding, herbal consultations, nutritional consultations, and a-la-carte services.
Accomplishments
Christina Loveland-Dupuis founded Pawsitive Play, LLC in 2013. She began developing her training skills in 2008.
Since 2003, Christina has been actively involved in animal rescue, serving as Adoptions Coordinator for North East Rottweiler Rescue and Referral, conducting temperament evaluations, participating in fundraising and education events, and serving on the Board of Directors. She also works with local rescues like Pawsitive Paws Forever Rescue and Lucky Pup Rescue, often fostering dogs with behavioral challenges.
