About the Trainer
PAWZAZZ is the agility branch of Kinder-Pup, Inc, located in Maryland. It is a highly respected group within the world of competitive agility, with close to 100 students, competitors, and members. They teach NADAC style agility, and many of their students also compete in USDAA, AKC, and UKI.
They offer a progression of training classes that begin with an introductory level and continue throughout a dog’s career, covering foundations to elite handling. Safety is a primary concern, requiring dogs to be fully off-lead trained and x-rayed to ensure closed growth plates and no underlying physical problems before jumping.
The team aims to strengthen the bond between canine partners and their owners through agility, helping them learn the necessary foundation and skills to compete at all levels.
Accomplishments
PAWZAZZ has become a highly respected group within the world of competitive agility, with students who have participated at the National Level in all venues and several who have won or placed very highly at those competitions.
Debi Hutchinson, the founder, has been among the top contenders (top 3) in her classes at several NADAC Championships, winning the 16” division at the NADAC Championships. She has had multiple dogs in the NADAC top 10 through the years. Many of her students have also made the top 10 rankings for their breeds nationally and have won their divisions in ASCA and NADAC at the championships.
How to Get Started!
Almost everyone who meets the initial criteria of having a dog who is safe around other dogs and people and who is off lead trained can enter and try an INTRO Class. Progression into higher level classes is by invitation.
