“I have been taking my now 13 week old puppy to POM K9 for the past three weeks to the puppy daycare/obedience training. I could tell a difference in his listening to commands and overall behavior the first week. All pups are treated as if they are one of her own. Peace of Mind K9 is a small, family-owned and operated business located on five acres in Manassas, Virginia, conveniently near I-95. They offer dog daycare, boarding, and training services, aiming to be a “Home away from Home” for pets. Their staff is highly educated and loving, providing personal service and dedicated care for each furry family member.
The facility includes a pond, doggy pool, and plenty of shade for dogs to play. Boarding options include standard kennels (4×4) for pups 45lbs and below, and luxury kennels (4×8) in a 1500 square foot temperature-controlled building with epoxy flooring. The property is secured with cameras and kennel door locks. For dogs needing extra attention or with separation anxiety, custom in-home care is available.
Peace of Mind K9 also specializes in comprehensive and private narcotics detection services for commercial clients in the DC and Metropolitan area. The founder, Heather Munsterman-Victor, and her team have years of experience with detection dogs in both law enforcement and civilian roles.
