Peoria Obedience Training Club (POTC) is a long-standing dog training organization, established in 1946, dedicated to educating dogs and their owners through various training programs and events. They are recognized for offering one of the best training facilities in the Midwest.
The club operates with a volunteer training staff possessing many years of combined instruction and training experience. Their membership includes professionals such as AKC judges, veterinarians, vet techs, professional handlers, kennel managers, trainers, and groomers. POTC members include top competitors in Obedience, Agility, and Flyball, and many Conformation champions began their training at the club.
The facility is climate-controlled, features a sound-absorbing system, is accessible to people with disabilities, and has new 1 1/4″ rubber matting. It also provides ample free parking in a well-lit lot, crating space when available, and acres of mowed lawn for dog exercise. The club is conveniently located with easy access to the Interstate, and guests are welcome to observe classes.
