About the Trainer
Julia is the trainer behind Perfect Partnerships Dog Training. She developed her love for dogs at a very young age, beginning to study dog training at age 5 and training her own dog by 14. By the age of 15, she was actively training dogs for her community and leading group classes.
Perfect Partnerships Dog Training aims to enhance the relationship between dog owners and their pets by recognizing the unique characteristics of each dog, owner, and situation. Julia specializes in rehabilitating problem behaviors, particularly aggression and anxiety issues, by focusing on the dog’s mindset and emotional state.
Her training approach is always custom-made for each dog, utilizing scientifically developed classical and operant conditioning methods, along with structured management plans. The business offers various training formats including individual in-person training, virtual training, day drop-off training, and board and train programs. All training services are now offered through Elevation Pet Resort in Laramie, WY.
Accomplishments
Julia began studying dog training at age 5, immersing herself in books on dog breeds, behavior, and training principles. She started training and showing her own dog at 14, and by 15, she was training dogs for her community and leading group classes. She taught the 4-H dog training project in Wyoming and further refined her training style while working with clients there. Julia is dedicated to continuously expanding her knowledge of training principles and focuses on rehabilitating problem behaviors.
