Private training is 45–60 minutes per session, flexible scheduling, with unlimited communication between sessions. Group classes include Puppy Adventures (weekly, no start/end date, socialization challenges, play, cue introduction) and Nosework (scent detection). Boredom Busters provides mental enrichment. Virtual sessions mirror in-studio content. All programs emphasize family involvement, real-life scenarios, and positive reinforcement. Puppy Adventures requires proof of at least two vaccinations.

Pricing Summary

Private in-studio sessions are $27.50 (single, with MYDOG code), $75 for 3 sessions, or $112.50 for 5 sessions. Puppy Adventures group class is $25 per session. Free Saturday Zoom sessions available. Online housetraining course is $5. All discounts apply with promo code MYDOG through summer. Unlimited calls/texts between sessions included. No extra charge for second dog.

Policies

Canceling a session with less than 24 hours’ notice results in the session being considered complete and non-refundable or reschedulable. All sessions require advance registration. Proof of vaccination required for puppy classes. Promo code MYDOG valid through summer for 50% discount on private and virtual sessions.

My wife and I had a very good experience with Personable Pets. Sharon was great to work with. We opted to go with private in-home sessions because of an issue we were having with one of our dogs (8-years old) and our newly acquired Golden Retriever pup that was only 12-weeks old. Older dog would literally go into devil dog mode and attack the pup, I mean with teeth digging in and wanting to kill it. After a couple of sessions, we had these two walking together, running around in the back yard together, and even in the same room without any attacks.
We also took the pup to their facility which gave her exposure to other pups for some socializing skills as well as further training.
To sum up, as we told Sharon at end of our last session, the training was more for the humans than the dog(s). We learnt some real valuable lessons which we continue to use and will do so going forward. This was worth every penny. Lastly, its nice to know that if we need any help or suggestions that Sharon is just a call away.
