I booked training for my dog at this location, which cost $249. This was booked two months in advance. I showed up the first day of training to find out there was no training and they had no dog trainer. Their dog trainer had “left” but “told them he had notified us all training was cancelled.” We received no notice, and no formal email from Petco letting us know training was cancelled, to be rescheduled, etc. The manager then continued to speak poorly of the former employee/dog trainer and said that they were a bad trainer, among other things. Ultimately this was incredibly unprofessional and the entire experience was disappointing. We were not offered a refund by the manager, nor were we offered an apology for their failure to communicate. The blame was placed on the former employee, and the attitude of the manager was “It’s not our fault, this is on him.” I sought a refund, and never received an apology. I absolutely would not recommend anyone go here for dog training now, or in the future.
