P.E.T.S. is a puppy social program designed for puppies to learn safe play and socialization under professional supervision. The program focuses on building confidence through exposure to new sights, sounds, and surfaces, with trainers guiding both puppies and owners.

P.E.T.S. offers several levels of socials tailored to a puppy’s confidence, energy, and size. These include Level 1 (Small/Shy Pups for super shy or small dogs under 10 pounds), Level 2 (Beginner Pups for puppies still gaining confidence and those less rambunctious), Level 3 (Kinder Pups for puppies too confident for Level 2 but not ready for Level 4), Level 4 (Teen Pups for puppies with strong confidence and energy who have learned self-control), and Level 5 (Big and Brave Pups for puppies with high confidence and high energy). All first-time puppies must attend either Level 1 or Level 2.

Testimonials

“I love PETS! Great socialization and introductions to scary things. Around the holidays Sarah will bring in blow up decorations and anything that could be scary for your pup and help them get used to the object so when they experience it outside of PETS they know how to handle themselves.”
– Sarah P.

“PETS is amazing and Pam and Sarah are the most informed, caring, and fun trainers I’ve ever worked with. When I started bringing Truman (30lb Bernedoodle) to socials, he was very wary of other people and dogs. Nobody could grab his collar or touch his head and new dogs always got barked at. Pam and Sarah were so patient, especially with me, and over time Truman transformed. Now when we go to social hour he can’t get enough love from all the people and loves getting his head and ears rubbed. He even likes other dogs!!

On top of it all, Pam and Sarah are always available for questions and offering helpful advice when needed. This is so much more than dog training, it’s training you to create a world where you can really enjoy your pup in the lifestyle that fits you best. It’s the best dog training I have ever experienced. Simply amazing.”

“PETS Socials is awesome! We’ve been taking our puppy Noodle for over a year now. We try to make every scheduled social we can! Noodle always has tons of fun and comes home tuckered out. As puppy parents, we’ve learned so much about proper dog behavior and social interaction and how to keep our puppy and other puppies safe while playing together!
The trainers and assistants are all so attentive and take the time to explain what’s going on, what to watch out for, and how to handle each situation.
It’s so well-run and a pleasure for Noodle and us!”

About the Trainer

P.E.T.S. is a puppy social program where puppies can learn to safely play and socialize with other puppies under the watchful eyes of professional trainers. P.E.T.S. stands for Puppy Environmental Training Socials, providing a safe place for puppies to build confidence in new and unfamiliar situations. Puppies are exposed to various sights, sounds, and surfaces, with trainers guiding both puppies and owners to interact with and explore these changing environments.

The program is unique in offering several different socials tailored to a puppy’s confidence, energy level, and size. The focus is on socialization, training, and bonding, emphasizing the vital importance of socialization and exposure during a puppy’s first 19 weeks for developing play skills, social skills, and bite inhibition. Professional trainers teach puppies safe interaction and equip owners with skills to work with their puppies at home, explaining canine behaviors and communications to enhance the bond between pet and owner.

How to Get Started!

Clients should register 10 days before classes begin to sign up in advance. All first-time puppies are required to attend either Level 1 (Small/Shy Pups) or Level 2 (Beginner Pups), with no exceptions.
