We just finished puppy and intermediate training with our Australian Shepherd puppy Ruby and cannot recommend these programs enough. We’ve gone through training with two of our other dogs but since Ruby is our first puppy, we wanted to make sure we knew what we should and should not do. Priscilla came recommended from neighbors and friends and they were correct. She is patient with all the puppies and humans. More importantly, she is firm but fair. We are excited to continue with additional classes in the new year to ensure we have a happy but well mannered Aussie that we can take anywhere.

We have been through the beginner, intermediate, and advanced classes and are about to start therapy dog training. I can not recommend Patricia at PetSmart more! She’s helped me become a better dog owner, more patient, and more understanding of our puppy. Truly the best experience I don’t have enough good things to say about the classes here!!

As a follow up to my review, it has come to my attention during my last visit to the PetSmart on Victory Drive in Savannah, GA (10/28/2025) that Priscilla Nelson was dismissed as the Dog Trainer. Our five star review previously given on 10/14/2025 was for Priscilla. Obviously I do not know of the circumstances but she was the reason we went here. We completed two sessions of training with Priscilla for our new puppy. We were about to sign up for our third session when we learned of Priscilla’s departure. Needless to say we did not subscribe to the third session nor will we ever shop in the store as well as encouraging our friends and family to do likewise. If PetSmart treats long time associates in the manner in which they treated Priscilla; then we will spend our money with companies who show compassion towards associates and the animals in which they serve.
