PetSmart Dog Training – Valley View, CA

So it seems that PetSmart has changed its policy about Express grooming. You used to be able to take your French Bulldog or any high stress dog and have them expressed for grooming which means they would take them right in. Now they don’t do that they want you to leave your dog there for 4 to 5 hours to get a wash and a brush which normally takes 35 to 40 minutes they want to put your dog in a cage for 4 to 5 hours. Oh but you can pay $15 extra to get your Express dog in. So this is just deploy to make more money they don’t care about your dog at all they don’t care that your dog would be put in a cage 4 to 5 hours they already have breathing issues they would be totally stressed out. Just to make $15 more on customers with boxers Frenchies Bulldogs pugs any type of dog like this. I find it disgusting and deplorable. The only reason why I take my dog there is because the groomer and that I use I have been doing this for 2 years with my Frenchie his name is Gerardo he is the best and my dog loves him. My dog has never been in a cage is not around a million dogs if I was to leave him there for 4 or 5 hours he would probably be in complete distress. So yes I paid the extra $15. PetSmart is disgusting and the only reason why I will ever go there is because of the groomer gernardo I will never buy another item from them and if my groomer ever leaves I will never go back or step foot inside a PetSmart. I’ve been a loyal customer of them for years but this is totally disgusting. I would love to hear from corporate on this on what made you change your mind and think that this policy was okay. I have talked to my dog’s vet who has been in business for over 25 years and specializes with French bulldogs and she absolutely said there is no way that something like this should happen and that this could be detrimental to my dog or any dog that is a high stress to be put in that situation. I wait patiently to hear back from somebody in corporate on this

The employees used to be so friendly and helpful. During my last two visits, it seemed as though they were too busy to help or give advice. Maybe they need help? Maybe they need training in customer service?

Service there was bad on Saturday may, 20 at 2pm couldn’t get anybody to help me l try asking for help 3 time in the fish section, lots of dead fish in tanks
