Day Training programs involve the trainer working directly with your dog. These programs specialize in behavior modification, problem solving, and positive guidance for puppies, adult dogs, and those with aggression or reactivity issues. After an initial phone or email conversation to understand your dog’s needs, the trainer works with your dog three times per week for three weeks, typically in your yard or neighborhood, with each visit lasting 45 minutes. Skills learned are transferred to the owner at the end of each week.
Group Training Classes are held at Run Wild Dog Sports and Training Center in Auburn, WA. They offer a wide array of classes for dogs of all ages, breeds, and skill levels, including Companion Manners, classes for Rowdy/High Energy Dogs, Reactive Rover classes for fearfulness and aggression towards other dogs, and classes geared towards CGC Certification, Therapy Work, and Rally Obedience. Classes emphasize individual attention, family participation, and a positive, dog-friendly approach.
Private Lessons offer in-home dog training services, primarily in South King County. These programs specialize in behavior modification, problem solving, and positive guidance for dogs of all ages, and also assist with new puppy introduction, general puppy training, and obedience for good manners. They use science-based, positive reinforcement, force-free, and fear-free methods. Each private session begins with a full behavioral history, dog evaluation, and the creation of a customized training plan.
