Pleasant Pooch Daycare, Training and Dock Diving

Pleasant Pooch offers various training programs including Board & Train, Group Training, and Day Training. For daycamp and boarding, dogs are dropped off between 7AM-10AM and picked up between 3PM-6PM.

Dogs are grouped by age, play style, and size into small play groups with designated nap times to reduce stress and prevent overstimulation. They also cater to special needs dogs, less active dogs, and dogs who dislike socializing by offering one-on-one time with staff.

Pricing Summary

Boarding rates are priced per night: 1 Dog: $40.00, 2 Dogs: $72.00, 3 Dogs: $94.00, 4 Dogs: $114.00. Any boarding dog not picked up before 10:00 AM will be charged an afternoon pickup fee.

Daycamp (Reservation Required) rates are: 1 Dog: $34.00, 2 Dogs: $58.00, 3 Dogs: $80.00, 4 Dogs: $98.00. A Monthly Membership is available for $500 on the 1st of the month, which includes Daycamp Monday-Friday, 2 complimentary baths, automatic sign-up for their monthly party, and daycamp availability even when daycamp and/or boarding is full.

Policies

All pets must be up to date on 6 month Bordetella, Distemper, Canine Influenza & Rabies before coming into the facility. They do not require pets to be spayed or neutered to stay, but females in heat are not allowed.

Any boarding dog not picked up before 10:00 AM will be charged an afternoon pickup fee.

Pleasant Pooch Daycare, Training and Dock Diving aims to help dog owners teach their dogs manners to become balanced and happy family members. They provide a clean, safe environment for dogs to play and socialize, offering an alternative to traditional kennels.

Dogs are grouped by age, play style, and size into small play groups with designated nap times to reduce stress and prevent overstimulation. The facility features three separate outdoor play yards and two indoor play areas.

They offer dog boarding, daycamp, and various training services, including Board & Train, Group Training, and Day Training. Additionally, they provide pool/dock diving, operate an online store, and are involved with the Pooch Pals Foundation, a training-based rescue organization.

Accomplishments

Kristin Higgs (Mills), the owner and dog trainer, is CPDT-KA Certified and AKC Canine Good Citizen Certified. She has worked with over 1,500 dogs in the Oklahoma area and surrounding states.

Kristin is a member of the Professional Association of Pet Dog Trainers. She was honored as a member of the Journal Record Magazine’s Achiever’s under 40 Class of 2013.

How to Get Started!

To get started, clients should email info@pleasantpooch.com to schedule. An interview day is required before a dog can participate in boarding or daycamp to ensure the facility is a good fit.

For boarding or daycamp reservations, clients need to complete specific paperwork based on the number of dogs and email it to info@pleasantpooch.com, including their name and desired dates. If an email reply is not received, clients are advised to check their spam folder before emailing again.
