Testimonials
“We came to Ella when I was at the end of my rope with my dog. I was frustrated with him on a daily basis. And I’m sure my dog felt the same way with me. Ella has made it so I enjoy him again. He listens to my commands on a consistent basis and he enjoys working for me. She has helped repair our relationship. I can now take him for walks without him walking me. I can take him out in public and he knows how to appropriately greet people. Our lives are better because of Ella’s help! If you are looking for a knowledgeable, professional and friendly dog trainer, I highly recommend her!”
-Nichole Van Deusen
“Ella has been working with our high energy English Cocker Spaniel through day camp and private lessons. Maisie’s loose leash walking has improved drastically. Ella provided structured training and play time with appropriate play partners at day camp. Maisie truly enjoyed spending time at Ella’s house and we will use her for future boarding needs as well. Ella provides details on what homework is beneficial for your dog between sessions and tailors everything to your dog’s personal needs. Maisie has shown increased impulse control and neutrality while we continue private sessions with Ella. The professional pictures you get of your pup at day camp are an added bonus!”
-Kylie Guinta
“I cannot recommend Ella highly enough. She worked with a particularly challenging King Charles Cavalier for three months–one with a notoriously stubborn personality and a long list of behavior issues. When she started, this dog was a handful: jumping uncontrollably, screaming for attention, pulling hard on the leash, and generally being a behavior problem that made it impossible to imagine him in a calm, structured environment. But Ella completely turned things around. Through her consistent, patient, and knowledgeable approach, she taught this dog all the basic commands–sit, stay, come, heel, and more–and most importantly, helped shape him into a calm and reliable companion. Her training made it possible for the dog to safely transition into an assisted living community, where safety, predictability, and obedience are non-negotiable. Ella didn’t stop at just training the dog. She also worked closely with the individual who would be receiving the dog, ensuring they had all the tools, understanding, and confidence needed to maintain the dog’s progress and create a safe and comfortable environment for both of them. Ella is not just a dog trainer–she is a true partner in helping people and their pets live better lives. I would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone with any type of dog behavior or training needs.”
