About the Trainer
Police Dog Services LLC (PDS) was formed in 2006, initially focusing on training highly successful law enforcement canine teams. In 2017, PDS expanded its services to include dog training for pet owners.
Their pet training classes are customized on a client-by-client basis, with a focus on developing a training plan that meets individual needs. PDS emphasizes positive and fair training methods, using clarity, consistency, and abundant reward to keep training fun and dogs motivated.
They offer various training formats including Private Lessons, Board and Train, Drop-off/Pick-up, In-Home Training, and other specialty training. Their approach is rooted in understanding canine behavior and applying motivational, operant conditioning techniques, with minimal use of compulsion or negative reinforcement.
Accomplishments
Police Dog Services LLC (PDS) was formed in 2006 and has trained many highly successful law enforcement canine teams. PDS is an Ohio Peace Officer Training Commission (OPOTC) approved basic canine program, with all teams able to certify to OPOTC standards upon completion. Most graduates also obtain certifications from other accredited organizations.
