Owners attend a mid-session walk in week two to begin transferring leadership. A go-home session and pamphlet are included. Dogs must be crate-trained, 6+ months old, and up-to-date on vaccines. Additional days are available for fear or reactivity. Boarding and daycare are offered only to graduates of the program.

Testimonials
“I had found Primal K9 training through a friend via social media and found myself watching her videos every day. I knew she would be a great fit for Nellie. […] After training, Nellie was able to hold a double down on place in the midst of a chaotic family dinner. We are able to go for walks. She is able to stay on place whenever I’m cleaning, doing laundry, or making dinner. She is calm for baths/drying/brushing. She doesn’t jump when people greet her, but sits at their feet. We can even go into stores and hold a double down.
Primal Mountain K9’s training has made mine and Nellie’s lives much more structured, stress free, and happier. I would recommend Primal Mountain K9 training to anyone without hesitation!”
– Taylor R.
“After having our son, we quickly realized that having a 70 pound Husky that did whatever she pleased was not going to work. […] Hannah took our crazy, stubborn, dramatic Husky & did the unthinkable. She was so patient & even kept Lyla longer than planned to ensure she returned her to us new & improved. […] We recommend Hannah to everyone we know!”
– Lizzy H.
“Hannah is truly a dog whisperer! I’m a firm believer that she can take any dog and help them bring out their best self. […] Both of my dogs are still very much goofy and are thriving from constantly and consistently receiving clear direction with the help of the e-collar.
TL;DR: It doesn’t matter how your dog currently behaves, they will benefit from Hannah’s 1:1 flexible training program. The e-collar is a great tool that is appreciated by both me and my dogs.”

About the Trainer
Primal Mountain K9 LLC is a dog training business based in Charleston, WV, led by trainer Hannah, who offers compassionate, mindset-based training focused on establishing leadership and a permission-based lifestyle for dogs. The program uses low-level e-collar stimulation alongside daily training regimens to teach five core commands: sit (stay), down (stay), heel, place, and come, along with crate and car manners, threshold control, and reducing unwanted behaviors like jumping, barking, lunging, and counter surfing. Training is delivered through an intensive 15-day board and train program, with optional extensions for anxiety or reactivity, and includes daily video updates, three public outings, and a go-home session. Owners are required to continue reinforcing training at home to maintain progress. The business also offers boarding and structured daycare exclusively for dogs who have completed e-collar training through Hannah or another approved trainer. Hannah emphasizes individualized attention by working with only one dog at a time, ensuring customized training that preserves each dog’s personality while improving behavior and confidence.
Hannah’s approach is rooted in her personal experience transforming her own high-energy dogs into calm, well-mannered companions, and she has completed a shadow program with Almost Heaven K9. Her clients report dramatic improvements in obedience, reduced stress at home, and the ability to take their dogs confidently into public spaces. The program is designed for dogs 6 months and older who are crate-trained and up-to-date on vaccinations, but does not accept dogs with a bite history.
Primal Mountain K9 is known for its high level of communication, daily social media updates, and ongoing post-training support, helping owners sustain long-term success with their dogs.
Accomplishments
Hannah has been training dogs for over 4 years and completed a Shadow Program with Almost Heaven K9 in January 2022. She has successfully trained numerous dogs with severe behavioral issues, including reactivity, anxiety, and leash pulling, transforming them into calm, obedient companions.
