For general obedience, they offer Basic Obedience Training covering foundational skills like sit, down, stay, recall, and loose-leash walking. They also run “Four Legged Angels,” a compassionate non-profit dedicated to rescuing puppies and providing vital support to Veterans and First Responders through service, therapy, and comfort dogs at no cost.

Accomplishments

The lead K-9 Trainer, Charles Young, is a Master K-9 trainer with over two decades of experience. He spent 20 years with the Barnstable County Sheriff’s Office and 11 years assigned to the Massachusetts State Police Narcotics Unit/District Attorney’s Office, with extensive involvement in local, state, and federal narcotics cases.

He is a graduate of three K-9 academies, a certified K-9 trainer (8-month intensive program), and completed elite K-9 Decoy training. Charles has trained over 140 Law Enforcement K-9 teams across Massachusetts, certifying them in narcotics detection, firearms/ballistics detection, cell phone detection, patrol/apprehension, and search & rescue. He is also an AKC Certified evaluator for Canine Good Citizen, S.T.A.R. Puppy Program, AKC Community Canine/Advanced Level Canine Good Citizen, Urban Canine Good Citizen, and AKC Trick Dog Test. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology with a minor in Criminology.
