Testimonials
Wesley came home from boarding school on Tuesday. He is the sweetest 70 lb, 8.5 month old Giant Schnauzer puppy, but he could not control his impulse behaviors like standing up to give hugs, putting everything in his mouth, counter surfing, pawing for treats or attention, and pulling instead of walking. In fact, the pulling was so bad it was becoming dangerously close to causing injury. He is a strong pup.
We took him to K9 Performance for the 2 week boarding school. Since picking him up, he has been making much better choices and is excited to show off his tricks. We did have a couple of incidents, but it’s only been a few days and we are learning to use the methods Tim demonstrated as well. Practice is a must!
The pulling is gone. I can take him out and he is so polite now that I actually enjoy it. We still have to keep a very close eye on him because he still acts like a vacuum cleaner and the counters are so tempting as he is very food driven, but the pawing and standing up is gone. We understand how much food appeals to him so we can still respect the amount of restraint he has shown since coming home despite a couple mishaps.
I recommend Tim. He’s great. The program definitely helped Wesley, but it takes effort on our end as well. I may send him again for more training in something unique because I think he would love to learn more sporting or searching tricks.

We adopted a 5 year old terrier mix that had been in a dogfight, but we had little other information regarding her history. After bringing her home, we soon saw she is very reactive to animals, especially other dogs. Given we camp in the summer and are around a lot of other dogs, we decided she needed extensive training. We talked with Tim and had her go to the 2 week obedience training. It has been on-going work, but our dog is much more manageable now and continues to improve. Tim trained not only our dog, but also us. His follow up visit at our camp was especially helpful. Tim clearly understands dogs and his techniques work well. I would definitely recommend Proformance K9 for those having difficulty controlling their dogs.

Our 18 month old Lab mix, Molly, is a high energy gal and was difficult to manage, despite training classes. Jumping, pulling, and anxious barking were a few of the things we were hoping to work on. We did the 2 week board and train and are so happy with the results. She was a new dog, behaviorally; doing better with walking, staying in place on her bed, and even recall. She is more calm and I think she feels safer knowing we are able to watch over her and her surroundings. She sees us as her leaders, now. There is much less barking and she seems more content. We can take her out back and let her chase after her toys, knowing she will come when we call. Tim gave us the tools to keep working with her and we now feel we can enjoy her so much more. We would highly recommend the program.
