They offer both group and private instruction, with group classes limited to 6 students for individual attention, socialization, and distraction training. Private lessons provide more individualized attention and flexible scheduling.

Programs include “Take and Train – Day Trip Training Program™” where the trainer works with the dog on obedience, socialization, and problem behaviors. “IN-HOME PRIVATE LESSONS” are available for basic obedience, problem solving, and behavior modification.

Group courses include “Super Puppy!™ / Super Dog!™” (6-week beginner level for puppies 10 weeks and up, covering obedience, manners, and problem behaviors like jumping and nipping), “Exceptional Family Dog!™ / Intermediate Obedience” (8-week course building on beginner skills, focusing on off-leash exercises and attention/distraction training), and “Super Savvy Family Dog!™ / Advanced Obedience” (8-week course for real-world reliability, including “field trips”).

Specialized classes include “Foundations Thru Fantastic!™” (focuses on recall, loose leash walking, heeling, and rear-end awareness), “Agile-Pup!™” (8-week course with agility equipment for teamwork and confidence), “AKC – Canine Good Citizen (CGC) Program” (5-week prep and test for proper training, temperament, and social skills), “Rally-Obedience Classes!” (all levels from Novice to Masters), “Trick Dog Class – All Levels” (8-week course for tricks and title earning), and “Scent-tastic!™ Scent/Nose Work-1” (6-week course for odor detection). Drop-in classes are also available for graduates, allowing week-to-week attendance with no commitment, contingent on at least 3 students and 24-hour confirmation.

Pricing Summary

A free 45-minute phone consultation is available, valued at $99. Drop-in classes offer discount packages. For private, in-person training, a $50 cancellation fee applies for less than 24 hours notice. If the trainer travels or arrives and the client is not present, the full session price plus a $50 fee will be charged.

Policies

For group courses, refunds are not offered once enrolled and participated. Clients may restart the course at another time or transfer to a different course, at Progressive Canine’s discretion. Partial refunds may be offered after deducting fees for evaluations, participated classes, materials, equipment, and access to proprietary training material.

For private, in-person training, refunds are not offered due to the tailored nature of sessions, evaluations, research, and proprietary materials. Clients unable to continue may transfer to a group class or remote sessions, at Progressive Canine’s discretion. Partial refunds may be offered after deducting fees for evaluations, provided sessions, materials, equipment, and access to proprietary training material.

For group classes, 24-hour notice is requested for missed classes, with options for make-up classes available. For private, in-person training, a $50 cancellation fee applies for less than 24 hours notice. If the trainer is en route or the client is not present at the agreed time/location, the full session price plus a $50 fee will be charged, with extenuating circumstances considered on a case-by-case basis. Their services cover all levels of obedience training, from beginner to advanced, and address common problem behaviors such as jumping, nipping, and house-training. They also specialize in behavioral consultations and modification programs for issues like dominance, aggression, separation anxiety, fear, insecurity, and phobias. The instructors are proficient in various training techniques, allowing them to tailor methods to each dog and owner for successful outcomes.

They have over 35 years of experience helping people and their dogs succeed in real-world situations.

Accomplishments

Lynne M. Panno, the owner, has been an animal professional since 1981 and a trainer since 1988, with over 35 years of experience. She holds a degree in Small Animal Science and worked as a Veterinary Technician for 10 years. Lynne is a Director and Judge for the United States Temperament Test Association (USTTA), a certified evaluator for the AKC’s Canine Good Citizen Program (CGC), and a Judge for the AKC Temperament Test program. She is also a Professional Member of the International Association of Canine Professionals (IACP). Lynne actively trains and competes with her Rottweilers, showing them in conformation and has titled numerous client dogs in German style conformation and working trials. She continues her education in behavior, training, canine nutrition, and health, holding certifications in dog nutrition and nutritional counseling.

Kelly Hall-Daigneault has been training professionally with Progressive Canine since 1999. She has an Associate Degree in Animal Care from Becker College and is a certified evaluator for the AKC’s Canine Good Citizen Program (CGC). Kelly previously developed and ran the training program for North East Rottweiler Rescue and instructed obedience for The Rottweiler Connection’s rescue program. She is an active member of Rescued Rottweilers United with Friends and Family, Inc.

How to Get Started!

Clients can call or text to register or for more information. They can also complete an online class registration form. For drop-in classes, an evaluation may be required for those who haven’t trained with them before.
