Testimonials
We had such an incredible experience working with Zach at Purest Canines! Our boy is a 1-year-old, very high-drive and highly reactive working dog — and Zach was absolutely amazing with him. From the start, Zach gave us the tools and confidence we needed to help mold our sweet boy into the best version of himself.
In just five weeks, we saw a complete transformation. Our dog loves to work and genuinely enjoyed every session with Zach. During our follow-up appointment yesterday, we could even tell how much he missed him! Zach’s professionalism, knowledge, and calm energy truly set him apart. He has an incredible ability to read dogs and tailor his approach to each one individually.
We also really appreciated how Zach focused on building trust and a relationship with our dog before diving into the training itself — that foundation made all the difference. Using the tools Zach taught us, we’ve been able to create a calmer, more focused, and much less reactive pup at home.
We also love that Purest Canines offers boarding for past clients — it gives us peace of mind knowing our boy can visit his favorite trainer again in the future!
Purest Canines is absolutely fantastic. It’s worth every penny and we would recommend Zach to anyone who wants to build a stronger, more trusting connection with their dog.

I don’t even know where to begin. We are over the moon at the work Zach & his team has put in and what they’ve achieved with Charlie in only five short weeks.
From start to finish, Zach was personable, kind, honest, and trustworthy. We started with an evaluation of Charlie, and I immediately knew we were going to follow through with training at Purest Canines. I had been following Zach & Purest Canines on social media and was blown away by all the progress videos and transformations he had been posting. I was already so ready to go at that point–but by the end of the eval, I was fully locked in.
Charlie did the five-week board and train, and though we missed her terribly, we couldn’t have made a better decision in choosing Purest Canines. Charlie was dropped off with some bad habits to break (nipping, barking, jumping, not fully crate-trained, etc.), and we chose to have her trained on and off leash while also unpacking those bad habits. Zach fully delivered and went above and beyond our expectations!
Each week he sends a video update (that I would watch repeatedly ), and they blew my mind. After seeing Charlie in person, those videos that had already blown my mind did no justice to the incredible work Zach had done. It was like a brand-new dog–but at the same time, Charlie was still our sweet, loving Charlie. It was like we sent her off to get a software update
Picking Charlie up was incredible. Zach is full of knowledge, and it was amazing to have someone so thoroughly explain what they’ve done, why, and how we’ll continue to implement it. We will forever use Purest Canines for any future pups we have, and Charlie will be visiting Zach & the Crew any time we go away and she isn’t able to come–for some training and a trustworthy board.
We can’t thank Purest Canines enough for what they’ve done for our little fam. Charlie was built to work, just like all dogs, and aside from doing ourselves a favor, we more importantly did her a favor by having her trained and giving her even more purpose

Wow, we had the most incredible experience with Zach. We started training our 4 month old Siberian Husky, Luna, knowing that huskies can be a challenge due to their strong-willed personalities. We wanted the best trainer we could find–and we’re so glad we found Zach!
Each training session we had with Zach exceeded all of our expectations. His passion, knowledge, and patience made a huge difference in Luna’s progress. After just one lesson, we saw a remarkable transformation–it was like we had a completely different, well-trained dog! After completing six lessons, we couldn’t be happier with the results. We will definitely do more in the future!
We highly recommend Zach to anyone looking for top-tier dog trainer!
