Queen City Dog Training Club offers various training programs designed to cater to different needs and skill levels. Their Puppy classes focus on socialization with humans and dogs, play with equipment, and provide owners with training and care knowledge.
For obedience, they offer classes from beginner basics all the way to competition level. Rally classes provide a relaxed environment to practice obedience skills by navigating a signed course. Conformation classes teach presentation skills, ring procedure, and tips for breed competition, suitable for both experienced competitors and novices.
Scent Work is a low-impact activity where dogs use their sense of smell to accomplish tasks, burn energy, and build confidence, suitable for all ages and sizes, for fun or competition. Agility classes cover skills from absolute beginner to competition level, involving tunnels, jumps, and obstacles. The club also hosts scheduled practice sessions like “Rent A Ring” for Obedience and Rally, and “Friday Night Agility.”
Pricing & Policies
Policies
The club has an aggressive dog policy stating that their classes are not designed for, nor will they be effective for, dealing with aggressive, reactive, or overly fearful dogs. For these types of dogs, they recommend seeking a behaviorist or trainer specializing in such issues, and they can offer suggestions for finding help.
Cancellations for seminars and scheduled practices can occur, such as a seminar being canceled or an agility session being canceled due to turf cleaning.
