Raising K9 offers customized dog training solutions for dogs of all ages. Their Puppy Training Kindergarten is a 3-week, 5-day-a-week program for puppies under 6 months, focusing on manners, leash walking, play biting, barking, socialization, crate training, and house training reinforcement, and includes puppy daycare.
The Boarding & Training Program is designed for owners who want a professional to initiate the training process, covering foundational behaviors such as walking nicely on a leash, auto sit, down, come, and introduction to place, with a focus on building duration and working under distractions. This program includes three owner follow-up sessions. Add-ons for behavioral modification are available, addressing issues like leash pulling, reactivity, excessive barking, play biting, shyness, fear, nervousness, growling, and nipping.
Private Dog Training Lessons are ideal for owners who prefer to train alongside their dog. These lessons are divided into basic on-leash training (loose leash walking, auto-sit, down, come, recall) and advanced on-leash training (leave it, return to heel, place, distractions). Behavioral modification add-ons are also offered for private lessons, covering similar challenges as the board and train program, such as leash pulling, reactivity, excessive barking, play biting, shyness, fear, nervousness, low confidence, growling, and snapping.

Testimonials
“Elisa is our go-to trainer for all things dog related. She helped us settle our rescue and fix his reactivity to dogs and males when we first got him. And when we got our new puppy, she was with us every step of the way with guidance and training sessions to help him become socialized to all environments and people and become a very well-behaved dog. We have used her for training and boarding and always know our dog is in the best hands. I highly recommend Raising K9 to all my friends, family, and all dog owners.”
– Star Bogenschutz
“Elisa is a wealth of knowledge, and really great in helping me train my 7 year old mutt. Can tell she really loves dogs and helping her clients connect with their dogs.”
– Josh Shelter
“Elisa is wonderful and I cannot recommend her enough. She helped me with my bernese mountain dog puppy. She is an expert in her field and if you trust the process you will have a perfect dog on your hands when you’re done. She is accommodating and gives you all of the options available, plus she knows so much! She truly knows the ins and outs of dogs and how to lead them and direct them towards success. Her pricing was fantastic based on my research and you really get personalized care and attention. She truly loves dogs and wants all dogs to succeed. My dog also had a ton of stomach issues and Elisa listened and cared as well and gave sound advice that paid off as my dogs GI issues have cleared up quickly when we really thought nothing would work. If you want a well behaved dog and are in need of guidance and expertise please connect with Elisa. She will get you all on track!”

How to Get Started!
Every new dog at Raising K9 begins with a free evaluation day. This assessment allows the business to observe the dog’s group play style and how they interact with staff and other dogs. Upon successful completion of the evaluation, clients can then make reservations for boarding or future daycare visits.
To schedule the first appointment, clients are required to call. Necessary documentation includes a copy of the dog’s current health and vaccination records (Bordetella, Rabies, DHPP), proof of spay or neuter for dogs older than 7 months, and a current negative stool check. Clients must also review and complete the Training Intake Form and the Training Liability Waiver.
